Despite the title, it actually covers more of the country, now including some of the Transylvanian mountains as well as the Danube Delta and the Black Sea coast. Whatever species you are looking for, this book tells you what you need to know.
2019 Finding Birds in Eastern Bulgaria. This replaces the original Finding Birds in Bulgaria but concentrates on the Black sea coast, the Eastern Rhodopes and sites along the Danube including Rusenski Lom. Includes specific sites for all of Bulgaria’s most exciting breeding birds and highlights the best places to look for rare migrants and wintering geese, ducks and gulls.
2019 Finding Birds in mid-France. This replaces the original Finding Birds in Northern France, covering most of the same sites but in far more detail, making it the essential guide for anyone visiting sites such as the Champagne Lakes (including Lac du Der), the Lorraine National Park (including Lac Lindre), La Brenne, Les Dombes, Les Vosges and the Jura mountains.
