birding sites in Goa
A woodland pool is good for many woodland-type species including but the main attraction is a roosting Brown Wood Owl.
All the sites in this section are treated, in detail and with precise maps and directions, in my book ‘Finding Birds in North Goa’
If you have any information which you feel would help to update the book, please email me at dave@easybirder.co.uk and I’ll add your observations to these pages

The path that goes past the shrine takes you into the wood past a little stream that attracts birds such as Asian Paradise Flycatcher and Red Spurfowl. The owl normally roosts in the trees to the right of the stream. We couldn’t locate it in November 2009 so it would be useful to know if it returns.
