Anywhere along this coast is great for watching the Baltic migration but this site has the added benefit of being a really nice wetland with its own special birds
All the sites in this section are treated, in detail and with precise maps and directions, in my book ‘Finding Birds in Estonia’
If you have any information which you feel would help to update the book, please email me at dave@easybirder.co.uk and I’ll add your observations to these pages

Pikla Pools
Pools and reedbeds are great for wildfowl, warblers, passing terns and gulls and breeding species such as Bearded Tit
The coastline is great for seaducks and grebes. There’s another tower next to those distant bushes.
I walked round the pools at dusk but failed to hear the crakes that are said to occur here
