One of the best areas in the Pyrenees for Lammergeier, Wallcreeper, Citril Finch and Black Woodpecker
All the sites in this section are treated, in detail and with precise maps and directions, in my book ‘Finding Birds in North Spain’
If you have any information which you feel would help to update the book, please email me at dave@easybirder.co.uk and I’ll add your observations to these pages

Hecho Valley
This meadow, (site 3, page 18) is one of the best sites for Citril Finch. Look for them especially along the road.
And this rock (site 2 page 18) is famous for its Wallcreepers.
Of course, the scenery around here is fabulous
A chance to add Dipper and Red-backed Shrike to your Spanish list - and Yellowhammer too
